[Intro]
Sixteen years in the room, still know my name
Yagy walked in; the old fire came
[Verse 1]
They call me thesuperstud, carved on the door
I’ve seen whole seasons leave this floor
I kept my place when the hours ran long
Now one last march, with Mercy 1 and the boys
[Pre-Chorus]
No crown to claim, no debts to hide
Just dust on my boots and 404 at my side
[Chorus]
I’m back for the last round, hear that name
Yagy in the hall, still carrying flame
Sixteen years standing, I gave what I could
An old warrior leaving like an old warrior should
I’m back for the last round, then gone from view
This is my farewell, this is me through
[Verse 2]
I know every corner, the cracks in the stone
The faces that changed, the ones still known
I came back once with no promise to stay
Some roads call you in just to send you away
[Pre-Chorus]
No grand goodbye, no victory pose
Just one more stand before the curtain close
[Chorus]
I’m back for the last round, hear that name
Yagy in the hall, still carrying flame
Sixteen years standing, I gave what I could
An old warrior leaving like an old warrior should
I’m back for the last round, then gone from view
This is my farewell, this is me through
[Bridge]
If I’m gone when the next years turn
Keep one small place where the old names burn
I gave these walls the best I had
No regret for the good or bad
[Final Chorus]
I’m back for the last round, hear that name
Yagy in the hall, still carrying flame
Sixteen years standing, I gave what I could
An old warrior leaving like an old warrior should
I’m back for the last round, let the whole room know
I came back once—and now I go
[Outro]
thesuperstud, one final stand
Sixteen years, still my ground |
